About the speaker -

Mr. Sumon Bhattacharjee

Sumon is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and alumni of Don Bosco (NEHU), Shillong, UDCT (Of Bombay University) - now as ICT University, Mumbai (Technology), NMIMS - now as NMIMS University, Mumbai (Marketing Management), and IISWBM (Calcutta University), Kolkata (Social Welfare).

He has over 25 years of corporate experience working in Mumbai all along apart for 2 years in New Delhi - worked in Swiss MNCs Sandoz and DKSH (Head -Business Line Pharmaceuticals & Key Accounts) and with Tatas’ Voltas where he spent almost 17 years and was the Deputy Divisional Manager for the Business Unit ‘Chemicals Division’.

At the beginning of his career, he had a clear thought that the last 10 years or so of his active life he would love to do something which will help the society at large directly. Something that can have a positive impact on the lives of not so privileged citizens of India. So he joined the MSW 17-19 to shift to the social development domain.
