P.R. Ramesh

Ramesh a graduate in Engineering and MBA has 22 years of experience in Indian and Multinational organizations heading Operations, Quality and Business Excellence.

Ramesh is specialized in the implementation of Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, 5S, Quality Assurance, Total Productive Maintenance, Lean Management, Industrial Engineering, Quality & Environment Management Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Process Management, Training, Organization Development and Change Management.

- Started his career in Amalgamations Group and later worked for Essae Group and Molex India. His experience includes both manufacturing and service areas.

- Certified Black belt from ASQ and BMG university. Certified Lean Six Sigma Champion from Juran Institute. He is also Master Black belt certified from Indian Statistical Institute.

- Worked as a TPM Champion during his tenure at Essae. He is a certified TPM facilitator from TPM-Club India. Guided several organizations on effective TPM implementation.

- More than 12 years hands on experience in Lean implementation . Learnt Value Stream mapping directly from John Shook co-Author of “Learning to see”.

- Rich experience in Balanced Scorecard, Policy Deployment, use of X matrix and A3 charters. Implemented the same successfully in five organizations.

- Specialized in Management Systems like ISO9000, TS 16949, OHSAS, ISO 14001 . Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9000 systems.

- Examiner for Business Excellence awards. Also specialized in implementation of customized Business Excellence models. Examiner for RBNQA awards.

- Visiting Faculty for Juran- Six Sigma Black belt and Greenbelt programs, MBA – Operations Management.

- Developed more than 25 practice based training modules in the area of Business Excellence.

- His articles on Quality and Business Excellence are published in National and International journals/Magazines.
