Hello everyone,
Srujan Mishra is a nanotechnologist, space enthusiast, scientific researcher by training, and a metallurgist by heart. He is currently the engineering manager leading capital projects at the Aludyne Columbus iron foundry that makes safety-critical automotive components for Ford, GM, Chrysler, BMW, Mercedes, Nissan and several others. He has worked in the iron and aluminum foundries for 7 years, as a metallurgical engineer, casting auditor, process improvement and continuous improvement contributor to the foundry. He received his bachelors in Metallurgy and Materials Technology in 2007 from MGIT and moved to the United States to pursue higher studies. He graduated with a master of science in materials engineering and PhD in nanoscience from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. He has authored several research papers and presented his research work at several international conferences. In his free time, he loves to hike, play volleyball and wonder what the world would be without material scientists! Kindly confirm your presence.
