The IIST Student Alumni Relations cell in collaboration with the IISTAA brings to you another one of its “Life after graduation” talks aimed to showcase the wide variety of career paths out there. This time we have Gagan Agrawal, space consultant, entrepreneur and the force behind multiple startups.

Gagan Agrawal

Space Consultant & Entrepreneur

Worked across roles such Consulting, Product and Product Marketing, Launch Vehicle Systems Engineering, Co-Founding and Building 0 to 1 startups (EdTech), Satcom technology with recent core expertise in satellite finance.

Formerly Satcom Finance Practice Lead at NSR, covering global supply, demand, pricing and financial state of the satellite industry. Recently concluded his co-founding stint with EdRAHI.

Worked with SES - Luxembourg towards satellite-IP hybrid telco networks and ISRO - India on launch vehicle systems design (both simulation and wind tunnel experimentation), with a focus on Aeroelasticity

Masters from ISU - France and a Bachelors in Aerospace from IIST - India. Published with DRDL and IAC; led a 25-member team towards launching the first student-sounding rocket from IIST; and co-founded Rocketeers while at college.
