Life after graduation : Career Guidance Talk by IIST Alumni

The IIST Student Alumni Relations cell in collaboration with the IISTAA is happy to bring to you, “Life after graduation” a new series of talks and webinars on career guidance by distinguished alumni from IIST. These talks are aimed to showcase the wide spectrum of career paths one can choose after graduation from IIST. Alumni from various fields ranging from space research to entrepreneurship would be sharing their journey and life experiences following which there would be an interactive session where the attendees can get their doubts cleared. For the first talk of the series, we have Rachana Reddy, who is of the class of 2012, avionics and is currently a development engineer with Berlin space technologies in Berlin.

Rachana Reddy

Space Engineer & Podcaster

Rachana is currently a development engineer with the satellite company Berlin Space Technologies in Germany. She has previously worked with ISRO (DoS) as well as the German German Aerospace Center (DLR). She hosts a podcast series Those Space People and writes about space law, business and technology on rachana.space

Rachana has a master degree in space engineering from Technical University Berlin (TU-B) and another master degree in space and telecommunication laws from NALSAR University of Law (National Academy of Legal Studies and Research) in India.

Rachana loves space sci-fi and would be thrilled to discuss her latest reads - the Three-Body problem series by Liu Cixin and the Wayfarer series by Becky Chambers.
