Hence, presenting you an industry-standard 5-day Bootcamp/workshop on Product Design & Interaction design, which is a fully immersive, hands-on practical experience starting from scratch.

It focuses on the core of Design Thinking and Problem-Solving approach which are based on the real-life scenarios and synthesizing design for them which is deployment ready..

About Industry Expert: Adithya Sharma

Mr. Aditya Sharma has worked in the design domain for nearly 7 years & has given 4+ years to the design industry where he has worked with Amazon India(UI/UX Designer), Unacademy(Design Lead) and Pre-image(UI/UX Consultant). He specialises in “Interaction & UI/UX Design, Product Design & Design Research”. Further his areas of work include Motion and Visual Design, Micro-interactions and design for Social applications. Currently he is doing M.Des. from prestigious “National Institute of Design, Banglore. He is Visiting Design Mentor at Designerrs Lab Bangalore training industry professionals with their design journey. He is featured Design mentor at ADPList.org and Designed.org very well-known Design communities across the globe and has founded Whitespace Design Foundation an open design community.

Day 1: -

Day 2: - Starting with Product Design : Phase 1: User Research

  • UX Research tools and Techniques: Doing User Interviews, Creating Persona, Customer Journey Maps, Empathy Maps, Mind maps for products
  • Information Classification, Introduction to Task Flow and User flow
  • Gamification in UX and Gamification Framework.

Day 3: Phase 2: Design Ideation and Brainstorming.

  • Fundamentals & Laws of Interaction Design
  • What is a Wireframe? Wireframe types Creating Low & High-fidelity wireframes
  • Digital & Non-Digital methods
  • Intro to UI design patterns
  • Prototyping – types and Methods
  • User Testing with paper prototyping
  • Difference between wireframing and prototyping
  • Activity/Task- Wireframing, User Flow, Information Architecture

Day – 4: Phase 3: Visual Design and Interactive Prototyping

  • Principles of design, Visual design and 8 Elements of Design
  • Grids in Adobe XD, Designing for responsive
  • Typography & Colours selection for web & mobile, Color theory & Psychology.
  • Creating UI Style Guides, Repeat Grids, Component States.
  • Animations and Micro interactions, Rapid Prototyping
  • Auto animate in XD, Nested components, Gestures, Micro-interactions, Voice Interactions, Audio enabled Prototyping.
  • Activity: Interactive prototyping, micro-interactions

Day-5 : Project Handoff, Career Session

  • Developer hand-off your projects.
  • Portfolio Creation for projects
  • Generating out of the box ideas and how to approach them to make a product.
  • Career Session: Prepare for Design roles, how to make portfolios for it. How to start with a design role in industry. Participation in Design Hackathons
  • Going Ahead with Design Masters at NIDs/IITs. How to prepare and crack.
  • Open Mic for Question and Answers, Feedback
  • Submission & review of the projects and award ceremony for winners/winner groups
